Date May 29, 1980.This invention relates to a new fibrinolytic substance and the method of manufacturing the same which can be singly isolated from venom of venomous snakes belonging to the family of Trimeresurus taxonomically by means of molecular sieve chromatography and ion exchange chromatography. This substance has the action of dissolving fibrin in mammals by activating plasminogen and its clinical use a fibrinolytic agent is promising.
