PURPOSE:To simplify a baffle plate itself together with installation work of the baffle plate and reduce the weight of the plate by fastening together and fixing both the periphery of the baffle plate and gaskets installed on both the upper and lower surfaces of the periphery of the baffle plate, in the space between a mating surface of a power transmitting case and that of an oil pan. CONSTITUTION:Gaskets 13 and 13 are stuck by means of adhesive to both the upper and lower surfaces of a baffle plate 12 at its periphery. The periphery of the plate 12 and the gaskets 13 are inserted into a space between the mating surface 3a of a power transmitting case 3 and the mating surface 8a of an oil pan 8, and they are fastened together tight by means of a bolt. Since the plate 12 is inserted into the space between the case 3 and the oil pan 8 and fastened and fixed without requiring any further installing tool, installation work of the plate 12 can be simplified. In addition, since the periphery of the plate 12 is fastened, the structure of the plate 12 can be simplified and weight of the plate can also be reduced. |
