PURPOSE:To prevent gas-column resonance of heat exchanger due to incidental Karman's vortex from generating by a method wherein multiple pores are made into casing wall of a heat exchanger and a buffer chamber is provided outside the wall with pores. CONSTITUTION:When gas is passing through pipe group in the arrow direction perpendicular to the axis of pipes 2, multiple pores 6 are made into the section of casing wall 4 of a heat exchanger parallel with pipe axis and gas flowing direction holding the pipe group and a box 7 is fixed to the outside of the wall 4 with pores to provide a buffer chamber 8 therein. These multiple pores and the buffer chamber 8 make the particle speed distribution of gas-column vibration complicated to prevent the gas-column resonance from generating. Through these procedures, even when strouhal number of stud fin group and gas flow rate distribution are unknown, the gas-column resonance of heat exchanger due to Karman's vorteic may be prevented from happening without fail. |
