PURPOSE:To eliminate the vibration of a mandrel and to wind up a strip well by attaching a heater constituted so as to make temperature controllable in the vicinity of a bearing. CONSTITUTION:The vicinities of bearings 6a, 6b are constantly heated to a >=fixed temperature by heaters 13a, 13b, and each part of the vicinities of bearings 6a, 6b is thermally expanded. Each part of the vicinities of bearings 6a, 6b expands toward the mandrel 1 in large quantity by said thermal expansion, and a sleeve 2 is tightly fastened by the bearings 6a, 6b to increase the supporting rigidity of mandrel 1. Accordingly, the intrinsic frequency of mandrel 1 is elevated, and the mandrel 1 is prevented from causing resonance and vibration even when the number of revolutions is increased. In this way, the strip is well wound up even at a high winding speed, and a line is speeded up. |
