PURPOSE:To miniaturize the oil heater by a method wherein a heating pipe, heating the fuel oil by high-temperature fluid flowing through the inside thereof, and an oil filter element are accommodated in a single main body in the oil heater for marine diesel engine or the like. CONSTITUTION:The fuel, sent by pressure of a fuel pump, enters into the oil heater 10 from an oil introducing port 12, is heated here by exchanging the heat thereof with steam flowing through the inside of the heating pipe 15 and foreign materials contained therein is filtrated by the filter element 14, thereafter, is sent into the diesel engine through an oil discharging port 13. On the other hand, the steam for heating the oil flows from a steam inlet pipes 152, which are provided on a common steam inlet pipe 154 at a plurality of places, through a steam drain pipe 153 and a common steam drain pipe 155 and, thereafter, is discharged. According to this method, the device is miniaturized to reduce the space of installation and both of the heater and the filter may be cleaned by one time of dismantling, therefore, maintenance therefor may be facilitated. |
