PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of troubles such as erroneous reproduction, impossible reproduction, erroneous recording, impossible recording erroneous erasion, impossible erasion, etc., by providing a providing a precoat layer wherein bubbles are not present at the interface with a protective layer between the protective layer and an adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:An SiO layer having 600Angstrom thickness, for example, is provided as a protective layer 7 on a discoid glass substrate 1 having 200mm diameter and 1.2mm thickness and a 2-layered vertically magnetized film consisting of TFe having 500Angstrom thickness and GdFeCo having 500Angstrom thickness is formed thereon as the recording medium. Subsequently, SiO2 having 1,000Angstrom thickness as the inorg. protective layer 3 and Al having 500Angstrom thickness are vacuum- deposited in the same vacuum. Then an UV ray-curing paint is coated in 10mu dried film thickness and cured by the irradiation of UV rays to form a precoat layer 6. Bubbles are not present at the interface with the protective layer in the precoat layer. When an optical disk thus prepared is recorded and reproduced, erroneous recording is hardly recognized. |
