Noise protection walls on roads and other traffic routes can advantageously be adapted to the scenic conditions and the environmentally dependent necessities if they are composed of individual identically formed panel elements and support elements which on the one hand have as aggregate material for the concrete a refuse mixture, preferably with a high content of comminuted washery refuse of given grain size and on the other hand have a reinforcement which runs through in a flat manner and stabilises in particular the longitudinal edges of the individual elements and which finally has vertically arranged panel elements. The support elements can in this case either be designed as vertically standing supports, on which the panel elements are arranged, being connected to one another at the same time, or of rails which ensure an arrangement of the panel elements at a horizontal spacing from one another also. It is advantageous that plant elements can be inserted between the panel elements so that easy greening is possible even in very simple noise protection walls. <IMAGE>
