PURPOSE:To measure exactly a vertical degree of a sensor, and also to record it by controlling a magnetic field of a magnetic sensor to zero by using a compensating coil, and thereafter, detecting a magnetic field at a position rotating the sensor by 180 deg., and measuring an inclined angle. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic sensor 4 is supported pivotally turnablly in the cross direction by a supporting frame 3, and this supporting frame 3 is placed rotatablly through a rotating means 5 on a base 2. On the other hand, a magnetism detecting coil and a compensating coil are contained in the sensor 4. A magnetic field detecting output of the sensor 4 is controlled to zero by impressing a voltage to the compensating coil, the sensor 4 is rotated by 180 deg. in a state that this voltage is applied, a magnetic field of the sensor 4 in an inverted position is detected, and by using this detecting output, an inclined angle in the vertical direction of the sensor 4 is measured from a prescribed calculating expression, and also recorded. Accordingly, a vertical degree of the sensor 4 can be measured exactly and also recorded. |
