PURPOSE:To eliminate a difference between left and right steering properties, by a method wherein a mounting slanted angle, as seen from the front of a car body, of a suspension arm on the one side is caused to differ from that of the suspension arm on the other side. CONSTITUTION:A wheel retainer member 2a is provided with an arm 21a, the lower end of a suspension strut 5a is secured to the forward end of the arm 21a, and the upper end is mounted to a car body 4. A nuckle arm 15a is located such that it extends obliquely backwardly of the retainer member 2a, the forward end thereof is coupled to the outer end of a tie rod 7a, and the inner end of the rod is coupled to the one end of a steering mechanism 6. A right suspension arm 3a has a central line La which is slanted outwardly downwardly toward a horizontal line H, and a left suspension arm 3b has a central line Lb positioned horizontally. As noted above, a difference in a slanted angle between the left and the right suspension arms causes prevention of production of a difference between left and right steering properties. |
