PURPOSE:To perform instantaneously the periodical switching of a remote switchboard and to ensure the smooth exchange processing after said switching, by providing a memory copy device between a using system and a spare system to copy directly the untransmitted information of a station of the remote side to the spare system. CONSTITUTION:When a switching indication is given, both a master station information transmitter SLC0 and a remote station information transmitter RSLC0 copy the untransmitted information to be given to the remote side station as well as the untransmitted information to be given to a central controller CC0 and a remote switchboard RPOS to information transmitters SLC1 and RSLC1 of a spare system (1 system) via memory copy devices MC and RMC. Under such conditions, the exchange processing is made waiting until the end of copying for both the controller CC and the switchboard RPOS. When the copying process is through with the untransmitted information from using transmitters SLC0 and RSLC0 to spare transmitters SLC1 and RSLC1, the transmission of the copied information is started instantaneously to the remote side station, the controller CC0 and switchboard RPOS respectively since a data link L1 of the spare system holds synchronization. |
