<p>For insulating and controlling the temperature of agricultural or horticulture buildings using thin walls incorporating non-transparent or transparent layers, a system is used which maintains the humidity and cleanliness of the surfaces with minimum heating. The heat content of the insulating space between two layers is increased by using heat radiation in a direction which is coplanar with the layers. Moisture is released in the space using an inside surface and the resulting water vapour absorbs the heat radiation. Energy is extracted from the layer of air by precipitation and drying.
