The hoist control features a casing of pistol grip like construction, which serves to enclose electrical switches, and an externally mounted rocker operator for controlling operation of the switches. Rocker movement is transmitted to the switches through a moisture sealing diaphragm and a switch actuating means arranged within the casing for movement in response to rocker induced movement of the diaphragm.
