PURPOSE:To decrease external parts of a photosensitive body in number and to reduce its size by laminating a transparent substrate, transparent electrode layer, and photosensitive layer and thus forming the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:An opaque guard 25 is provided in a photosensitive drum 24, and a fluorescent lamp 26 is installed in its center; and an optical shutter array 27 is arranged on the internal surface side of a developing part 4 to form an exposure part 28, and an electrostatic discharging part 30 is formed at the other terminal of the guard 25 while its opening 29 is aligned with the internal surface of a cleaning part 6. Consequently, an image signal voltage is applied to the optical shutter array 27 to expose the photosensitive body 20 from the inside, and an electrostatic latent image is fored on the photosensitive layer 23 through the transparent substrate 21 and transparent electrode layer 22. Therefore, four components, i.e. electrostatic charging part 2, developing part 4, transfer part 5, and cleaning part 6 are only arranged around the drum 24, and the exposure part 28 and developing part 4, and cleaning part 6 and discharging part 30 are at the same positions, so the diameter of the drum 24 may be small. |
