<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the use of a separate brake shoe and to decrease the number of component parts by using a band brake mounted to a tape reel drive disk properly to the control of tape tension and the stop of the tape reel drive disk respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a tape is driven, a solenoid 24 is energized. Then a slider 25 is moved down to revolve a brake lever 28. Thus a band brake 9 is unfastened and gives no braking to a supply reel drive disk 8. In the same way, a brake lever 36 is also revolved to unfasten a band brake 15. While a tension lever 12 is turned counterclockwise in a record/reproduction mode by the force of a spring 14 with a support shaft 13 used as a fulcrum. Then a pin 35 of the lever 12 touches the left end of a slit 33a of a joint 33, and the lever 12 shift a joint 34 to the upper left side. As a result, the brake 9 gives braking to the disk 8 and the back tension is applied to the tape. When this back tension is increased, the tape pulls a tension guide 4 to the upper right side. Thus the brake 9 is unfastened and the braking power is reduced.</p> |
