PURPOSE:To coil a metallic sheet simultaneously with manufacture without spoiling the property of metallic sheet in manufacturing metallic sheet by jetting molten metal to a cooling roll by making the distance between a coiling drum and the cooling drum variable. CONSTITUTION:A metallic roll 4 is rotated at a specified speed and the peripheral speed of a coiling drum 5 is adjusted to make it equal to the peripheral speed of the metallic roll 5. Next, the coiling drum 5 is shifted to the direction of the metalic roll 4 by an oil pressure cylinder 6. After confirming that the peripheral speed becomes equal, gas is introduced from a gas inlet 8 and molten metal 3 in a cylindrical container 1 is jetted on the metallic roll 4 through a nozzle 2. When the melten motal becomes a metallic sheet and coiled on the coiling drum 5, the drum 5 is moved backward by operating the oil pressure pump 6 and the metallic sheet is coiled continuously. |
