An apparatus for making copies (copying machine) from originals comprises mechanisms for recognizing safety marks on the original in order to exclude the originals having a safety mark from normal copying machines. In order to make with this apparatus both normal copies and original copies having a safety mark, ensure that safety conditions are fulfilled and notice straight away a misuse, the recognition mechanisms are provided as detectors to recognize and/or detect the codes forming the safety marks; furthermore, the apparatus comprises an access control unit, a blocking unit to stop the copying process in case of a reaction from the detector and an alarm unit. |
