Electrically-powered cooking enclosure, comprising a muffle 1 provided with at least one top plate heating element 30, 31, at least one base plate heating element 20, 21, an air circulation turbine 8 placed in the rear wall 4 of the muffle 1, a heating element 10 ventilated by the circulation of air from the turbine 8, a diffuser plate 11 directing the pulsed air in the muffle, an electrical switching device comprising contacts for the selective switching on of the various heating elements and of the turbine, characterised in that the switching device comprises a position in which at least one base plate heating element is connected in series with the ventilated heating element 10, at least one top plate heating element and the air circulation turbine being powered in parallel with the assembly.
