PURPOSE:To enable utilization of the advantage of a lens shutter while making best use of the advantage of a focal plane shutter by incorporating a diaphragm type shutter to a single lens reflex plane shutter camera and synchronizing a strobe therewith at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm type shutter 1 which is built into an intermediate ring is attached between a camera body 5 and a lens 6 and an intermediate shoe 2 for changing over electrical contacts is attached between the camera body 5 and a strobe 4 in order to synchronize the strobe at a high speed with a single lens reflex focal plane shutter camera. A synchronizing cord 3 is connected to said shoe. The user sets thereupon the shutter 1 at a desired shutter speed, turns on the strobe 4 and sets the shutter speed of the body 5 in the position B (bulb). When the user triggers the shutter of the body 5, the shutter 1 is closed and the focal plane shutter is opened then the strobe 4 emits light at the same instant when the shutter 1 is released. |
