METHOD FOR USING CYCLICALLY WELDING FLUX

PURPOSE:To enable use of a reused flux at an adequate viscosity in the stage of recovering the unutilized flux at the weld point and using the same after mixing the flux with a fresh flux by adjusting the amt. for adding the flux recovered in the state of pulverous powder. CONSTITUTION:The unused part of the flux F supplied to a weld point P from a supply hopper 10 is sucked and recovered through a recovering port 1 into a recovering device 2. Said flux is fed by a transporting machine 3 to a recovery hopper 7 from which the flux is supplied together with the fresh flux of the amt. decreased as a result of use for welding to the inside of an agitator 11. The flux is thoroughly agitated and is again charged by a portable hopper 9 into the hopper 10. The pulverous flux scatters from the device 2, the hopper 10 and the agitator 11 in this process and is therefore captured with a dust collector 6. The pulverous flux is supplied into the hopper 7 by adjusting 12 a stop valve 8 according to the average grain size of the flux in use at the weld point P and is reutilized for adjusting the average grain size distribution of the used flux.
