In a heating, ventilating or air-conditioning appliance, especially in a front-end heating appliance for a bus, with a housing provided with a maintenance flap, a heat exchanger can be removed without dismantling ducts after the opening of this flap, and moreover a fan is then accessible. To obtain an even greater ease of mounting and demounting for the carrying out of cleaning and maintenance work, the fan and the heat exchanger are received by a drawer unit. The arrangement is then such that both the fan and also the heat exchanger can be individually removed.
