PURPOSE:To reduce a noise of intake air with simplified construction, by forming an intake air introducing member mounted to an air cleaner case from a porous fiber layer, molding glass fiber or the like into a cylindrical shape, and a hard material layer formed in the peripheral surface of said fiber layer. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner element 2 is horizontally provided in an air cleaner case 1 and connected to a carburetor 6 through a pipe-shaped connecting member 5 fitted to an opening formed in one side face of the air cleaner case. A pipe-shaped intake air introducing member 7, being inserted to an opening 4 formed in an upper face of the air cleaner case, is formed by a cylindrical fiber layer, consisting of inorganic fiber such as glass fiber, ceramic fiber, etc. or synthetic resin such as polyester, vinyl chloride, etc., and a hard material layer 9 formed on the external surface of said fiber layer. In this way, a noise of intake air can be reduced. |
