PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of a device and reduce its noise, by integrally forming the internal gear of a planetary gear type reduction gear on the internal peripheral surface of a front machine frame, through which an output rotary shaft is inserted, in the case of a planetary gear type starter for an internal-combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A spur gear 25 meshed with a planetary gear 11 is formed on a rotary shaft 24 integrally rotated with an armature 23 in an electric starter motor 22. While an internal gear 29 inscribed to be meshed with said planetary gear 11 is integrally formed with a front bracket 27, supporting by a bearing an output rotary shaft 151 through an intermediate machine frame 30. In this way, a bearing device supporting a front part of the output rotary shaft 151 is arranged in the front end part of the front bracket 27, enabling its fitted hole and tongue-and-groove fitting parts 28, 31 to be pressurized on an equal shaft. Accordingly, a rotary noise and mechanical friction loss can be decreased by improving machined accuracy of the output rotary shaft 151. |
