PURPOSE:To eliminate dripping of condensed liquid onto the lower group of tubes and prevent the spoiling of heat transfer property due to covering the surfaces of lower cooling tubes by the film of the liquid by a method wherein trays, which collect the liquid condensed around the pipes of upper group of tubes and introduce it to the outside of the group of tubes along support plates, are provided between the upper and lower groups of cooling tubes. CONSTITUTION:Steam, flowed into a mian body 18 from the exhaust port 17 of a turbine, becomes condensed water partially during passing through the upper group of tubes 13, while the condensed water drops onto the liquid receiving parts 15b of the trays 15, is collected to the collecting parts of the trays 15 and is guided to the outside of the lower group of tubes 14 along guide parts 15c attached to support plates 12 or tube plates 16 after passing through the trays 15 as shown by arrow signs, therefore, the liquid drops to the bottom of the main body 18 without bothering the flow path of the steam. On the other hand, cooling water flows into a water chamber 20 from the inlet pipe 19, passes through the insides of the cooling tubes 11 to deprive heat from the steam, thereafter, is collected into the water chamber 21 once and flows out of an outlet pipe 22. Thus, the condensed liquid is separated from the steam by the trays 15, therefore the liquid, condensed in the upper group of cooling tubes, will never be carried into the lower group of cooling tubes and the heat transfer property of the lower cooling tubes will never be spoiled. |
