PURPOSE:To prevent a flow meter from measuring the quantity of air, by forming a valve seat in the flow passage in a valve box provided on the way of a piping to the flow meter and storing a float valve, which has a specific gravity smaller than that of a used liquid and seals an air current, in the valve box and providing a valve chest in a position higher than the valve seat to introduce air. CONSTITUTION:A valve seat 2 has the valve seat face turned up in the flow passage between a flow inlet 3 and a flow outlet 4 of a liquid such as a kerosene or the like in a valve box 1, and a valve chest 5 is provided above the valve seat 2. A cylindrical float valve 6 which has a specific gravity smaller than that of the used liquid is freely attached to and detached from the valve seat 2 in the valve chest 5, and a packing 8 is set to enhance the sealing effect of air current. A bonnet 10 is provided with an attaching hole 11 connected to a feedback piping 12 which is connected to the inlet side of a press-feeding pump (b). The flow inlet 3 of the valve box 1 is connected to an outlet-side piping 13 of the press-feeding pump (b), and a kerosene or the like is led to a flow meter (d) through a piping 14 connected to the flow outlet 4 of the valve box 1, and the liquid is flowed from the flow meter (d) to a discharge exit by an oil hose. Though air is sent to the valve part when it is empty, the float valve 6 is settled on the valve seat 2 to seal the air current. |
