PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of construction cylindrical walls by a method in which a double cylinder is made up of outer and inner films made of an expandible material, the tips of the double cylinder are closed, and a filler is packed into the aperture between the outer and inner films to construct a cylindrical wall. CONSTITUTION:A stand pipe 3 is erected, a pit 5 is excavated, and a double cylinder 1 in a contracted state is set on the pit 5. Water W is packed into an aperture S1 and a space S2 by pumps P1 and P2, during which period the cylinder 1 is vertically elongated out and settled. The aperture S1 and the space S2 are pressed to expand an outer film 1A diametrically to closely contact it with the wall 6 of the pit, and cement mortar 2 is charged into the aperture S1 to build up a cylindrical structure. Larger diameter-cylindrical structures can thus be constructed, the efficiency of construction work can be raised, and the period of construction can also be shortened. |
