The invention relates to dowels of the chemical type. But the system makes it possible to produce, oneself, in situ, a dowel with a head against the inaccessible face of hollow walls by means of a plain rod. It exclusively comprises addition material 3 brought by the rod 1 which, when drawn through the washer 2 pressing against the wall, produces the body of the dowel by piling up in the hole then the head is applied thereon by upsetting - like a rivet - finally a channel is left therein for subsequent screwing, or an insert is embedded therein using an extension member. A repetition system is provided for this type of dowel. <IMAGE>
