PURPOSE:To simplify the foundation of a tank by a method in which piles are driven only over all circumference of the ground facing the tank-side wall, concrete ring beams are provided on the pile group, and a doughnut-shaped intermediate beam in supported on the concrete ring beams. CONSTITUTION:Piles 3 are driven over all circumference of the ground 1 facing the tank-side wall 2, and an annular concrete ring beam 5 is placed on the pile group 4. The peripheral side of an intermediate beam 8 for a doughnut-shaphed bottom slab 9, having an upper stage face 6 and a lower stage face 7 whose height is lowered toward the central side, is placed on the concrete ring beam 5. A rust-proofing oil sand 10 is then laid on them in such a way as to level the upper stage face 6 with the upside of the intermediate beam 8. |
