PURPOSE:To replace a roll quickly and easily by enabling a roll rearranging dolly to advance and retreat on a lifting rail device arranged adjacently to a mill stand and enabling the dolly to house a floor plate provided to said device. CONSTITUTION:A rearranging dolly 1 is mounted on a rail 1A layed in the direction of a roll axis from a mill stand, and a floor plate 5 is prepared on an auxiliary rail 4 layed on a groove-shaped frame body 2A of a lifting device 2. When the plate 5 is housed in the dolly 1, the dolly 1 is advanced on the device 2 by lowering the device 2 by a cylinder 15 through a link 7, and the plate 5 is locked 13 to the dolly 1 by putting the plate 5 out of the rail 4 after retreating the dolly 1 by connecting a pin 13 to a connecting part 14, and a roll-bearing assembly 3 on the rail 4 is drawn into the dolly 1 by a device 8, or the assembly 3 is pushed out from the dolly 1 onto the rail 4. In this way, the installation and removal of the floor plate 5 is quickly and easily performed through the dolly 1. |
