PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary for a driver to perform a troublesome operation of returning an accelerator pedal, by detecting the idling of a wheel automatically, and by reducing the quantity of fuel supply subsequently so as to prevent the idling of the wheel. CONSTITUTION:A diesel engine 1 is provided with a fuel injection pump 7, and the cam shaft 8 of the pump 7 is connected to a gear 10 through the intermediary of a timer 9, while the gear 10 engages with a gear fixed to the crank shaft of the engine 1. A rack inside the pump 7 is linked to a hydraulic actuator 11, while an electromagnetic actuator 15 is controlled by a microcomputer 17 through a drive circuit 16. The computer 17 is connected to a load sensor 19 detecting the amount of operation of an accelerator pedal 18, and is further connected to sensors 20, 21 and 22 for detecting the number of rotation of the engine 1, an output shaft 4 and a drive wheel 5 respectively, thus controlling the quantity of fuel supplied to the pump 7. |
