PURPOSE:To maintain a liquid gasket to the prescribed thickness by coating a mating surface of one member with the liquid gasket, dropping spherical granules on the liquid gasket at suitable intervals, and thereafter connecting the other member with that mating surface. CONSTITUTION:When mating surfaces of two members are sealed by a liquid gasket, the mating surface of one member 2 to be sealed is coated with the liquid gasket 3 supplied from a coating nozzle 4, and granules 6 are dropped on the liquid gasket 3 at suitable intervals from an extrusion nozzle 5 integral with the coating nozzle 4. Accordinly, the liquid gasket 3 is maintained to the prescribed thickness and the noise caused by the contact of the two members is prevented, as well as the sealing ability therebetween is improved. Further, the coating operation of the liquid gasket 3 is smoothed by supplying the liquid gasket 3 and the granules 6 separately as described above. |
