PURPOSE:To prevent a current between a counter elecrode and a working electrode from sneaking to a reference electrode, stabilize a reference electrode potential, and measure a corrosion rate with high precision by surrounding the working electrode with the counter electrode, and arranging the working electrode and reference electrode at distance from each other. CONSTITUTION:The working electrode 4 is surrounded with the counter electrode 1 in liquid 11, and the working electrode 4 and reference electrode 5 are arranged at an interval, so the current between the counter electrode 1 and working electrode 4 becomes hard to sneak to the reference electrode 5, therby stabilizing the potential of the reference electrode 5. Products of corrosion are hardly deposited among the electrodes because the electrodes are not arranged closely, and consequently neither a short circuit between electrodes nor variation in corrosion state due to products of corrosion occurs, thereby measuring the corrosion rate with high precision. |
