PURPOSE:To reduce weight of a caliper and promote its cost down while increase its rigidity, by using a steel plate for the internal side further synthetic resin for the external side so as to integrally form the caliper into double- layer construction with inner and outer different materials. CONSTITUTION:A caliper, forming its internal side by a steel plate 1 further its external side by synthetic resin 2 such as, for instance, polyamide resin of strong compressibility, is constituted into double-layer construction with inner and outer different materials by integrally forming both the steel plate and the synthetic resin. In this way, light weight of the caliper and its cost down are attained, while its rigidity is increased. |
