PURPOSE:To obtain a speaker diaphragm satisfying all requirements as to physical properties by forming a plastic sheet formed with a prescribed resin layer to a diaphragm having a desired shape and size by means of heat and pressure and irradiating electron ray to the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A resin layer has a composition comprising a binder resin, a filler and an electron ray curing resin. The plastic sheet formed with the resin layer like this is formed into a diaphragm having a desired shape and size through heat and/or pressure by means of the pressure forming machine and the vacuum forming machine. In irradiating an electron ray having, e.g., accelerating energy of 150keV and an exposure of nealry 20Mrad, the speaker diaphragm satisfying all the requirements of physical properties such as low density, high Young's modulus and properly large internal loss is obtained. |
