<p>Polypropylene filament has a round cross-section which contains three or more cavities of equal cross-section therein. The cavities each have two legs forming a vertex angle there between of 65-140 degrees, the angle pointing toward the centre of the filament. Cavities in the filament provide increased resilience, torsional recovery and bending recovery, and a high lustre even when the polymer contains a high loading of translucent or opaque pigment.</p> |
