Device for varying the flow rate of a fluid or of a rotary movement. The invention relates to a device allowing the variation of flow rate of a fluid everywhere where a movement, speed, or power variation is required. It is composed of a chassis block 1 supporting the hoses and drive shaft. The inside 1 forms part of the gear cage, a movable part 6 causes the width of the gears 2 and 3 to vary by a control member 8. Two hollow cylinders with internal teeth 4 and 5, one 5 housed in the support block 1, the other 4 in the movable partition 6, allow the gears 2 and 3 to be partially moved back whilst continuing their rotation. The device according to the invention has its use in industry, agriculture machinery, manufacture of robots. <IMAGE>
