The mixing valve possesses, for quantity control, a stack of three ceramic discs (12, 13) lying one above the other and having passage orifices (4). The two outer discs (13) are stationary, whereas the middle disc (12) is rotatable via a hollow spindle (11) and a rotary handle (10). For temperature regulation, the mixing valve possesses a thermostatically actuated rotary-piston slide (8) coaxial with the disc stack. A bimetallic coil (17) is provided as a thermostat. The mixing valve is particularly suitable for use in flush-mounted bath taps. <IMAGE>
