PURPOSE:To omit parts and facilitate operation by coupling the switch terminal of the headphone jack with the switch of an equipment for exclusive use of a headphone with the power amplifier input terminal of the equipment body. CONSTITUTION:The equipment 21 for exclusive use of a headphone is connected to the equipment body 22 through a connector 27, and when a signal is applied to an input terminal 23, it is transmitted to a headphone amplifier 25 through a variable resistor 24. The amplified signal is transmitted to the headphone jack 26, and when a headphone plug is inserted into the jack 26, the switch incorporated in the jack 26 is open and no signal is sent to the power amplifier 28, so only the headphones sounds while speakers 29 do not sound. On the other hand, when the headphone plug is not inserted into the jack 26, the signal is transmitted to the amplifier 28 through the connector 27 and the amplified signal allows the speakers 29 to sound. |
