<p>Thermo-electric device, manufacturing and utilization thereof for the transformation of power, comprised of a plurality of thermo-couples electrically mounted in series and formed of a composite board which is directly or undirectly explosion-welded, based on metals, semi-metals or semi-conductors. The machining of composite boards (1, 2) to form thermo-couple mountings in series and forming meanders is carried out by a mechanical denudation process or by electro-erosion. Different embodiments of the manufacturing process, like the indirect bonding of materials which are difficult to weld directly by explosion by means of ductile metal sheet (14) and the explosion-welding with high temperatures, enable the production of thermo-couples with improved efficiency. The efficiency is further improved by providing a magnetic field in the thermo-couple region.</p> |
