PURPOSE:To improve fixability and enhance offset resistance by incorporating a resin composed of specified proportions of three components each having specified glass transition point range. CONSTITUTION:A resin to be used is composed of three components, A, B, C fractionated by the gel permeation chromatography (GPC) method in these elution order, using the border lines of mol.wt. of 100,000 and 200,000. Each of said components A, B, C has the glass transition point (Tg) range of 35-50 deg.C, 35- 60 deg.C, and 50-100 deg.C, respectively, and a proportion of 20-30wt%, 5-15wt%, and 60-70wt% respectively. Said resin composed of the components A, B, and C is a polymer of at least one monomer selected from styrene, styrene derivs., acrylic esters and methacrylic esters. A weight ratio of a magnetic powder to the total amt. of the components A, B, and C is in the range of 5/95-70/30. The use of such a compsn. can improve fixability and also enhance effset resistance. |
