PURPOSE:To improve a trapping efficiency by providing a trap center protruding from a bottom surface center part of a trap vessel and inserting a heat pipe of temp. lower than that of a wall surface of the trap vessel into the trap center. CONSTITUTION:A volatile formed gas trapping apparatus for thermal weight measuring apparatus is composed of the trap vessel 15, the trap center 15' protruding upwardly from the bottom surface center part of the trap vessel, a volatile formed gas exhaust pipe 14, a heat pipe 16, and a cooling member 18, etc. The volatile formed gas volatilized from a sample in a case 11 flows down together with carrier gas into the vessel 15. Since the pipe 16 is held to the temp. lower than that of the wall surface of the vessel 15, the volatile formed gas of high b.p. is collected at a circumference of the center 15', and only the volatile formed gas of low b.p. is exhausted from the pipe 14 of the vessel 15. |
