PURPOSE:To make an input to a rear panel joint part abasorbable without any damage to its appearance, by forming a bead part a little to the lower end of an upper rear panel in a state of being hidden behind a bumper fascia in the direction of the car breadth. CONSTITUTION:In case of transportion of automobiles by rail and so on, when a car body is clamped with a fastening plate or the like engaged with an engaging hole 18 of a tying-down hook 17, a tir-down input produced by clamoing force acts on a joint part as force F in an arrow direction from the tying-down hook 17 via a side member 9. In this case, since bead 19 reinforces the strength of the joint part 10 and the strength of an upper rear panel 1 itself, the force F is absorbed by the bead 19. Therefore, peeling in spot welding or a joint device is kept back from occurring, protecting the joint part 10 and, what is more, any deformation in the upper rear panel 1 is thus obviated. Likewise, the bead 19 and a patch are covered with a bumper fascia 13 and thereby will not appear outwardly so that the outward shown of a car body is in no case damaged. |
