PURPOSE:To effect speedy removal of oxygen from an oxygen containing specimen as a main component for preventing flame-out of FID, by installing a path with a blind part in a flush gas path and connecting a column with this path. CONSTITUTION:By means of carrier gas flowing into a carrier gas inlet port 4, a specimen containing specimen oxygen of a quantitative analysis pipe 5 of specimen as the main component is introduced into a column 7. The specimen introduced into the column 7 is forced into columns 9, 12 progressively by the carrier gas and oxygen, the main component in the specimen most rapid to resolution, reaches first the FID15. This oxygen causes an abnormal combustion in the FID15 and for the flame-out starts a column switching valve 10 immediately prior to discharge of oxygen from the column 12, switching thus the column 12 containing oxygen and a trace of carbon and hydrogen, components for measurement, from the carrier gas path to the flash gas path with the blind part 11, allowing oxygen to be discharged by internal pressure of column. Subsequently, by the carrier gas, the component subject to measurement is charged into the FID15 and detected. |
