PURPOSE:To make the void of high-temp.-solid moving bed constant in order to make it possible to cool the high-temp. solid uniformly in a cooling chamber, by equipping a rotatable hopper, which is arranged under a cutting hole so as to be capable of turning, with opening and shutting unit for the cutting hole, the unit which consists of a cutting gate and a driving unit. CONSTITUTION:A rotatable hopper 1 is equipped with an opening and shutting unit for a cutting hole 4 consisting of a cutting gate 2, a gate-driving cylinder 3, and the unit is mounted to the cutting hole 4 so as to be capable of turning. The hopper 1 is supported with upper and lower support rollers 5, 6 and is turned around the cutting hole 4 as a center by transmitting the turning effort of a motor 10 to a bevel gear 8 of smaller diameter which mates with a bevel gear 7 of larger diameter. A solid 14 in a cooling chamber 13 cooled to a prescribed temp. with a gas injected by a gas-injecting apparatus 12 is cut by sliding of the gate 2 caused by the operation of the cylinder 3. |
