PURPOSE:To enable water to be drained by a pump without providing with drain holes by attaching a hose of a length enough to reach the bottom of a tank to the pump. CONSTITUTION:Hot water heated by a solar energy collector and stored in a hot water storage tank 1 is suck from the tip of a hose 16 by a hot water supply pump 8 and then supplied from a hot water supply pipe 13. A float 17 is hung down from the tip of the hose 16, and high-temperature hot water in the upper layer is supplied. As the hot water is supplied, water is supplied from a cistern or the solar energy collector to keep the level of water in the hot water storage tank 1 nearly constant. Since the tip of the hose 16 is hung down from the float 17 to a fixed depth below water surface even the water level is varied, the supply of hot water can be smoothly made without suction of air from the hose 16 even when the water level is lowered. When too much water is drained, the suction of hot water supply pump can be continued without supplying water. The tip of the hose 16 hung down from the float 17 is lowered as the water level is lowered and reaches the bottom of the hot water storage tank 1. All water in the tank 1 can thus be discharged. |
