PURPOSE:To grind a work with three-dimensional curved surface by rotating a supporting member fitted on a spindle, by rotating at the same time a grinding belt mounted on this supporting member, and by giving feed to this grinding belt. CONSTITUTION:In a curved surface grinding device to make processing of a work having three dimensional curved surfaces such as hydraulic wheel runner, turbine blade, etc., the bottom part 1a of spindle (drive shaft) 1 of an NC machine tool bears the base part 5a of a supporting member 5, while a rotary shaft 10 situated right under the spindle 1 bears a spindle pulley 13 in such a way as rotatably and not possible to slip off. A pair of follower pulleys 21 are borne parallelly at the bottom part of a pair of follower brackets 20. The pulley 13 borne by the shaft rotates a grinding belt 23 wound on this pulley 13 through said pulleys 21, so that the belt 23 can make grinding in tracing the three-dimensional curved surface of the work. |
