PARALLEL TRANSFER APPARATUS FOR TRAVELING BAND-SHAPED ARTICLE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the initial bridging operation for a band-shaped body by axially supporting the both edges of a pair of guide rails arranged in parallel to the upper and the lower surfaces of the band-shaped body and in aslant form in the direction of traveling with a different phase in the vertical direction, onto the slidable bodies in shiftable ways along guide rails. CONSTITUTION:A pair of guide rails 5a and 5b are arranged in parallel and in aslant form by an angle beta in the longitudinal direction onto the both sides of the traveling passage of a traveling band-shaped body (a), and slidable bodies 6a and 6b are inserted in slidable ways into the guide rails 5a and 5b respectively. The both edges of the roll shafts 2a and 2b of guide rolls 1a and 2b are supported between the right and left slidable body pairs 6a and 6b. The both guide rolls 1a and 1b are arranged in parallel to the face of the band-shaped body (a) and in aslant form by an angle alpha with respect to the direction of advance of the band- shaped body. The band-shaped body (a) in straight line form can be bridged in nearly S-figure form onto the guide rolls 1a and 1b by moving in slidable ways the slidable body 6a of the rear-position pair upwardly and the slidable body 6b of the front-position pair downwardly.
