PURPOSE:To facilitate replacing an ink doner film, by a method wherein an ink doner film is enclosed in a cassette, and a thermal head can be moved in vertical directions. CONSTITUTION:Covers 15a, 15b of an ink doner film cassette 11 are opened, and a part of the ink doner film 12 fitted to cassette rollers 16a, 16b is moved upward. Then, the cassette 11 is fitted to a main body of the recorder from the reader's side, a head base 27 is lifted up by a Scott Russell's mechanism, and a thermal head is brought into sliding contact with a back-up roller 25 through a recording paper 29 laminated on the ink doner film 12. |
