PURPOSE:To obtain a signal device able to save power and to be miniaturized while having the light distribution properties for heightening central luminous intensity with light distribution having expanse by positioning a fluorescent lamp, in which plural bents are placed side by side with intervals, on the focal point of a reflection plate. CONSTITUTION:In the case of the traffic lights, fluorescent lamps 13 giving out blue, yellow and red color light while said each lamp 13 is formed by bending the middle part of a phototransmissive tube body 18 into about the U-shape having a bent 20 to become the luminous display part in the front. The bent 20 is positioned on the side of the projection opening 16 of a reflection plate 12 for being arranged along the axis l of the reflection plate 12, while in the lamp 13, the part positioning inside the tube diameter part of the phototransmissive tube body 18 in the bent 20 is positioned on the focal point (f) of the reflection plate 12. The light distribution properties have expanse besides high luminous intensity. Further, each fluorescent lamp 13 gives out blue, yellow and red color light so that no colored lens is required to be used thus serving to save power. |
