<p>PURPOSE:To increase efficiently the air dehumidifying effect with small consumption of power and a small-sized apparatus by forming an air dehumidifier of a double cylinder provided with an electronic cooling element utilizing the Peltier effect, and constituting a cooling and a dehumidifying passage of air. CONSTITUTION:An internal case 15, whose upper part 16 is made of metal and whose lower part 17 of a heat insulating material, is arranged concentrically in an external case 14. A dehumidifying passage 18 is formed in the internal case 15 and a cooling passage 19 between the whole circumference of both cases 14 and 15. Heat conductive plates 22a and 22b are vertically arranged in the internal case 15, and the upper outer side surface is joined to the upper metallic part 16 of the internal case 15. Electronic cooling elements 23a and 23b utilizing the Peltier effect are arranged at the lower part of the heat conductive plates 22a and 22b. An electric current is supplied from an electric power source 27, and the moisture-contg. air is sucked by a fan 20 from a lower inlet to the upper part. The air is cooled by the cooling elements 23a and 23b, and the moisture contained in the air is condensed and removed. The dry air is obtained in this way.</p> |
