PURPOSE:To keep a position at relation between a color selecting electrode and a panel correctly as designed and to improve reproducibility after mounting and dismounting of the color selecting electrode by grinding off a mounting portion of a center pin up to a set distance from the position of left and right pins and by mounting later the center pin at the ground position. CONSTITUTION:A panel 12 having a distance L from the position where left and right pins among three pins holding a color selecting electrode are to be mounted to the position where the center pin it to be mounted being smaller than the set distance 1 is prepared, the position of said panel is determined by outer surface butting portions 13, and the position of left and right pins 6, 7 to be measurement references are determined. Then, the distance L from the left and right pins 6, 7 to the mounting portion 11 of the center pin 8 is measured, and the excessive thickness l-L=m corresponding to the distance L of each panel 12 is ground off. Then, at this ground position, and also at left and right skirt portion of the panel 12, the center pin 8 and pins 6, 7 are mounted by frit, respectively. |
